ABOUT TIPKE

Tipke Manufacturing has been producing quality metal goods since 1965. What began with sprint cars grew into a Spokane manufacturing company known for practical fabrication, durable products, and hands-on support for customers who need parts and assemblies built correctly.

TIPKE HISTORY

Founder Jim Tipke established Tipke Manufacturing Company, Inc. with the idea of finding better ways to build things. The reputation for his craftsmanship grew over the years as he produced over 50 custom race cars, including the Tipke-Offy Indy Car. Shortly after, Tipke Manufacturing was asked to make Pedicabs for the 1974 World’s Fair in Spokane. In 1987 -tasked with a request from his father-in-law in need of a better quality yard cart- Jim designed and patented the Foldit, which has sold globally ever since. Over the decades Tipke evolved into a low to mid volume production shop. Jim passed away in 2015, but the legacy of his craftsmanship and the idea of “building better” carries on.

What Tipke Does Today

Today, Tipke Manufacturing works with customers who need metal parts, components, assemblies, prototypes, and production support. The work may start with a drawing, sample part, CAD file, rough concept, or production need. From there, Tipke helps review what needs to be made, how it should be built, and what steps are required to move the project forward.

Practical Manufacturing From a Spokane Facility

Tipke operates from its 33,000-square-foot facility in Spokane, Washington. With equipment and capabilities for multiple fabrication processes, the team can support projects from start to finish.
